David Stein is exhibiting two large pieces: Fate Has Given Us A Last Chance, and A Signage Year.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
One piece portrays signage as the visual landscape of a year, a neighborhood, a running dialogue. Stores, titles, logos, and conversations layer and accumulate, overlap and recede. The other, a window splash in the vein of car lots and mattress stores, offers a phrase of optimism and urgency as relevant today as it was 85 years ago.
