A summit is a local point of elevation maps an expedition to the mountain peaks of Crown Heights, Brooklyn in the winter of 2011. Photographs and text installed in the window at Gridspace shift in geologic and geographic scale and space, recreating the recent past of a neighborhood landscape. Piles of snow on the streets surrounding the gallery become summits in the White Mountains, the Great Smokies, the Rockies, the Transantarctic Mountains and the Quarles Range.
